BoundaryWatersRadio.com is a branch of Fancy Pants Productions, Inc. of Ely, Minnesota. Co-owners Mary Cich and Michael Jankovec went on-air mid January 2006 with the  dream of bringing Ely out to the world. Since then we have been receiving self-produced music programs from across the country.

This town of 3,700 residents is a tourism-based community that borders on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and is visited by thousands of people each year. Ely is rich in history and surrounded by more than one million acres of forest landscape and waterways carved by glaciers more than 10,000 years ago.
